| Pretty great Chinese scene found by Jack D features some neat death trap bondage and the damsel(played by, I believe, Xu Lu) gets gagged with EXTRA WIDE DUCT TAPE in what is easily a scene of the year candidate imo. Around 15 minutes in to episode 29, she's seen tied hands behind with rope when her captor carries her OTS to another room and proceeds to duct tape her feet together and gag her onscreen. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q2hE6T6uW5g The real good stuff starts in episode 31, where she's tied to a chair as a part of a contraption where it slowly moves her toward a knife. Around 8 minutes in a snooping guy finds her screaming for help in a building. Her captor is restraining her to the chair, and finishes the job by taping her mouth. About a minute or two later, she's shown on a phone as two other characters are seemingly forced to fight to the death or the contraption will kill her. Editors keep a close eye, as the scene goes back and forth between the fight and her struggling against her bonds and gag. We get lots of mmmphing and beautiful closeups of the chin-to-nose tape gag as she panics. Thankfully, the contraption is stopped just in the nick of time and she is ungagged and rescued around the 17:50 mark. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xJGbhyirUnc Not really impressed with most Chinese scenes, but this one is definitely worth taking a look at. |

| Can't argue with SOTY assessment. Pretty damn sweet. Loving the nice wide tapegags being used in both Chinese and Korean scenes of late, they look great. Could have been pressed down a bit tighter but still very nice looking gag. Very effective restraints. Classic death trap DiD trope. Thanks for posting! |
