| Title: Danger Route (1967) aka Ratten im Secret Service Medium: Movie Actress: Sylvia Syms, Barbara Bouchet Description: In this underrated secret agent yarn, the hero (Richard Johnson) has already tied up a enemy agent in a ship's cabin. Sylvia Sims is kind of in on the plot, and is planning on going with him, but he has other ideas. At 1hr 7mins, after he ties up the bad guy, he produces a white hankerchief and a nylon stocking. He steps behind her, tells her to "Open up", and stuffs the wadded hankie into her mouth and begins tying it in place with the stocking (so a cleave gag with packing). She makes muffled confused noises and tries to take it out, but he tells her not to. In the next sequence a few seconds later, she's now bound (hands behind her back, feet together) and is bundled into one of the berths in the cabin. He tells her to wait to give him time before alerting anyone, but also makes things a bit more comfortable for her by plumping the pillows. She is left alone with the putz on the floor, and is not shown again. Late in the movie Mari (Bouchet) and the hero are on board a large sailing yacht and are jumped by an evil double agent (Gordon Jackson). At 1hr 14mins he and Mari are tied up onscreen: hands bound tightly behind back and feet together with rope, but not gagged. She is then tortured for vital information by having some oil on her feet burned with a lighter, and nearly on her cheek, but fortunately she gives in before too long.
