| I came across a strange YouTube channel (I know, not terribly exclusive). It features a bunch of vignettes mostly featuring skirmishes between the US Cavalry and Sioux. Also cowgirls and a few outlaws are wandering around the action. The props and costumes are inconsistent and largely inaccurate. For instance, the Cavalry rarely have rifles but frequently snub-nosed revolvers. The Sioux sport only bows for range weapons. The Cavalry uniforms are sometimes completely denim, some with fashionable rips. The actors are probably 90% young women. And it's all in French, other than signs are in English. I'm not clear if actual French or French-Canadian (I suspect the latter). The skirmishes frequently result in the soldiers shot with arrows. I'm not a fan of the "women impaled with arrows" thing, but no judgment. The Cavalry suffers a lot more casualties, but they outnumber the Sioux about 10-1 and seem to have a large pool of reinforcements. That's probably the most historically accurate part of it. Now, we're getting the part that's of interest. At other times, things devolve into hand-to-hand combat that results in wrestling. Again, not a particular thing for me. Finally, the loser (usually Cavalry) will sometimes get tied up. Yay, got there finally. Now, understand that the ropework and gags (when used) are on par with the rest of the production values. So not great. But there it is. If you have time to kill, you can check these out. There are too many to list all the ones with scenes, so below I will give the main channel and what I consider the best of them, so you can evaluate. As for the 2338 episode, I didn't see anything of interest to this forum in the episode. |

Bob, thank you for bringing this up. I too have stumbled upon some of these and wondered WTF was going on. Like who made them and why. There is some decent onscreen tying and gagging. I especially think some of the actresses do a fun job of emoting and mmmppping once tied. The violence is fake enough that it doesn't totally ruin it. But the whole thing leaves me scratching my head. |

| Unfortunately the nature of the plot would make this unwatchable for myself. The blonde is hardly featured. 4 damsels would have made this a classic. What the hell are horror film-makers thinking these days :(. |
