This page is for posting links to online streaming video, Youtube and things like that. The rules are somewhat looser than Discussion. You can post and discuss mainstream and related amateur video. Do not post clips from commercial videos. It's usually not that hard to tell the difference.

I stream to a roku box to HD tv and there is no way to record it that I can figure out and I'm fairly technical in video. My Mac, which is high end, does not have intel so it doesn't even stream to my computer, I have to use roku. In response to some, I did google it of course and saw no one who could figure out how to record from roku or from the tv even with dual dvr's. I'm thinking right now, it's not possible, especially without new equipment or spending money on software and multiple gadgets. I would like to be proven wrong. I am paying for the films, why can't I record it for home use? |
