| Record number: 426 Title: Dragnet 1966 (1969) aka World Premiere: Dragnet Medium: TV Movie Actress: Thordis Brandt, Unknown Description: The opening scene is an attractive blonde (Brandt), well tied with hands in front, ropes knotted around her torso, ankles bound and with a white cloth cleave-gag. The tight shot pans down her body. She's wearing a sweater, skirt and high heels and mmmphs and struggles a lot. Near the end of the film, the captured serial killer (Vic Perrin) shows Friday (Webb) and Gannon (Morgan) bound and gagged pictures he took of all 4 of his victims including the identified Thordis Brant (victim 3). There is also a quick shot of the contents of the killer's foot locker when the detectives open it up revealing dozens of bondage photos. Note: the opening sequence is often heavily edited in some versions. |

Sorry Sam I could have tried to edit it out I suppose but It would have been jumping all over the place so I decided to leave it as it was I know it was a bit vrutal but I rembert Jessica Stroup getting a simliar thing when she had her ankles or something cut in Homecoming |

No, absolutely not. There's nothing that could've been done about that scene to make it any more "DiD-friendly", so I'll still say thanks for posting it either way. I appreciate the work of anyone who posts an HQ around here. Besides, it's not like I haven't posted some violent scenes before (Pelt, Red White & Blue, Supernatural S06E10, etc.) And yeah, Jessica Stroup in Homecoming was a bit iffy for me to edit when Mischa Barton slit her achilles tendon graphically on-screen (yuck!) Thankfully it was only one shot that I left out, while the rest made for a truly excellent scene (one which is certainly in my top 50 of all time, if I ever get around to compiling such a broad list). |
