A blond woman with a look of dread and black OTM gag (no bonds shown) at :48 and not much else shown in trailer (haven't seen movie). | LOL, looks like "I done goofed" again. All this time I've thought Terror Among Us and The Abductors were the same scene.....or the other way around.....or something. Durrrr. I don't even know myself how that could've happened. Probably from desensitization or having watched too many throwaway DiD scenes in low quality. Either way, somehow I've had them mixed up all these years. Just now I watched Jonas J's edit of TAU, so I'll admit it right here: that is a damn good scene. Very impressive. I know I'm about 30yrs too late & don't I feel like a total newb (so much for being the DiD Scene Machine...), but NOW I can see what the hype has been all about. lol. The HQ quality on that edit makes it feel as though I've never seen it before; or perhaps ages ago via an old WMV file. And yea, I know the subject matter is dark, and I've read into the background of it, but I've seen plenty worse scenes & IMHO few have been that good. So, I gotta hand it to Hadji and co: it's one hell of a classic. I can now totally see why it's still being talked about. |
