| If anyone has the movies of these scenes could they post them? Description: Episode: "Nolite te bastardes carborundorum" (1.04) At 24min (clean copy) Aunt Elizabeth (Edie) is lured into the bathroom by Offred and Moira, another Handmaiden. They quickly overpower her and force her down to the basement. She is forced to strip to her clinical white undies, and her hands are tied around a pipe. She is threatened by Moria with a cattle prod before a cloth is stuffed into her mouth, and the two leave her alone. As soon as she is alone, Elizabeth spits out the gag and starts yelling for help. Description: Episode: "June" (2.01) The handmaids’ refusal to execute one of their own at the end of season 1 brings a mass execution to the start of season 2. The episode opens with Offred (Elisabeth) walked out of her house and put into the back of a police wagon. Arriving at Fenway Park, along with a lot of other police wagons, she is dragged out and roughly gagged with a leather harness panel gag. Her hands are tied in front of her with a ziptie. Dozens of other handmaids receive the same treatment as they are pulled from the other wagons. The prisoners are forced through the tunnel and onto the field, where a massive scaffold has been set up with nooses. All of them are pushed up the stairs into a place on the scaffold, and each gets a noose placed around her neck. They endure a fake hanging, then a lecture from Aunt Lydia telling them to be grateful for god’s mercy, and to behave in the future. This entire sequence takes the first 11 minutes of the episode. By my count there were 45 women on the scaffold, but an overhead shot of the victims arriving at Fenway gives a count of at least 57 women. Of the named cast members above, I am only sure of Elisabeth Moss. The others are listed in the episode cast, but I can’t verify if they were part of the scene on the scaffold, except for Alana Pancyr, who plays a pregnant handmaid named Ofwyatt. She is seen at 23m (no ads) in a large bare room with a 10' by 10' (I think) carpet that has a twin bed, a table with a lamp, a floor lamp, and a wooden rocking chair on the carpet. She has one ankle that is shackled, with a long chain attached to a railing attached to the ceiling. Description: Episode: "Household" (3.06) June (Elisabeth) makes an important connection as she attempts to protect her daughter Nichole while accompanying the Waterfords to Washington D.C., where a powerful family offers a glimpse of the future of Gilead. Her first glimpse of this future is in the train station, as she sees two Handmaidens coming down the escalator in their red robes. These robes have an additional piece, which is a combination collar/OTM gag. At 16min she is settling into her room at her host’s house, when she tries to strike up a conversation with the home’s maid (Kirrilee). When the maid takes off her collar/gag, June sees that her lips are clamped together with metal rings, insuring that she remains silenced. At 17min Fred and Serena produce a propaganda film which includes ten of the gagged Handmaidens, in addition to June (who is not gagged). At 44min, Aunt Lydia helps June prepare for the big ceremony and helps her to put on the collar/gag, putting in position, and fastening the clamps in the back. They then go to the Lincoln Memorial, where June lowers her gag so that she can have an argument with Serena. After venting her anger, she puts the gag back in position and goes back outside for the prayer, which includes dozens of gagged Handmaidens (few of whom get a decent camera angle or screen time). Having been captured at the end of the previous episode, June (Moss) is sitting bound in a van by manacles on her ankles, also with leather straps velcro'd on her wrists connected to a leather belt around her waist. She is also wearing a leather face mask strapped to her head in a bandit-style gag that covers her mouth and nose, and a thick collar around her neck with a link attached to the wall of the van. There are nice close-up views of her face from the front, the tightly strapped ankles, her head in profile (which shows the thick collar), and her hands bound to a leather belt in front of her. She is soon led down a hallway into a room with a tilted table. After a moment of brutality, guards come in and strap her spread-eagle to the table by her wrists and ankles while she is still gagged by her face mask and breathing heavily all the while. The lieutenant comes in to interrogate her as to the whereabouts of her allies. Her face mask is taken off. She won't give up answers and after the lieutenant gut punches her and then leads a prayer, she gets a towel thrown over her face and is tortured by waterboarding. This all occurs in the earliest minutes of the episode. She is later brought into a room with her wrists still bound, and sat on a chair. She is interrogated by Aunt Lydia and lies as to the whereabouts of her mates. A little later on, she is led to the rooftop to find two "Marthas" (women who are infertile, low-ranking, and unmarried), Beth (Gutoskie) and Sienna (Sri) with their wrists cuffed. They are thrown off the roof as June's punishment for lying. She is then brought into a room with a metal box with holes in them. She is pushed into the box and left there, her wrists bound in front of her this whole time. After a while, she is pulled out of the box, sat in a chair, had her head tilted upward, and a black hood is thrown over her face. For most of the rest of the episode, she has her hands cuffed in front of her. Near the end of the episode, she and five other Handmaids [Janine (Brewer), Alma (Kiri), Brianna (Watson), and two others (Kelly, Lizdek)], are sitting in a van being transported to a "Magdalene colony", AKA breeding colony. All have their wrists bound in front of them with leather cuffs. Sitting with them in the back is Aunt Lydia. A male Guardian is driving the van. They come to a railroad crossing with the gate down and lights flashing due to an oncoming train, and the Guardian gets out of the vehicle. The Handmaids then overpower Aunt Lydia, get out of the van, and run towards the crossing. The two unnamed Handmaids are shot by the Guardian, and Alma and Brianna get killed by the train, while June and Janine escape. The Handmaids and the Marthas wear an interesting "handcuff" made of leather, where the wrists are bound with short leather belts and buckled on, and the wrists are connected to a thick leather strap between them. Description: Episode: "Pigs" (4.01) The end of last season shows June (Moss), after having been shot, being carried away by a group of Handmaids. The start of this episode shows the Handmaids treating her wound. During the process one of them cleave-gags June with a leather strap. |

Lots of leg shown by Maggie as she struggles in the chair. First scene takes place in an apartment with no gag. Vanessa then moves Maggie to a shack on the docks and gags her with duct tape. Maggie is ungagged and regagged several times over several days. Lots of closeups and expressions as Hendrickson plays the scene to perfection. She also has two of the best one-liners after being ungagged. One time, she turns to Vanessa in a perfect damsel voice and pleads "Will you just let me go, please?" Vanessa just laughs at her. Later, she turns again to Vanessa and says "What are you going to do with me?" She's eventually rescued. Her legs are slightly apart and tied to cement blocks on the floor. She is slowly lifted off the floor, with the villian stopping several times for effect. There are some cool shots (full, with pans from top to bottom). Ernest shows up early enough that we don't get to see her pulled apart, fortunately. also handgagged, lifted off the ground and carried away during her initial kidnapping by 2 thugs. Near the end, her and Ernest are at a tribal community. She is setting in a cage that is suspended over a pot that is boil. Ernest ends up saving her and she is not bound during this scene. Ms. Andress' black cowboy hat enhances the view. There are a couple of isolated shots of her with some good, angry mmpphhing. About 15 minutes later, she's grabbed by Indians who tie her hands behind her and lace a water-soaked rawhide thong around her neck, which will shrink and strangle her if Bronson & Co. don't come out of hiding and rescue her in time. For completists, Capucine also gets a brief handgag at 54mins of the Blu-ray release.
