Monday January 25 05:59:51 2010 "The Dark Knight" parody |
CollegeHumor produced this parody of "The Dark Knight" done 60's style; yes, the good, old-fashioned Adam West's Batman style. At one point, an actress performing Rachel Dawes is bound to a chair and cleave-gagged. Unfortunately, the scene is in split-screen, and on the right you see Harvey Dent also bound to the chair and gagged. So, PUTZ ALERT. Still, it's a cute three-second scene. Christopher Nolan could learn a lot out of this... |

Virtualdub that was mentioned here has a cropping feature that you may favour for getting rid of Harvey? Somebody more aware of the program could assist you with the best settings ======== Friday January 22 11:26:50 2010 Re: A question for sam (unsigned poster) wrote: > What program did u use to edit your videos ? > and whats the output video extension u use , the bitrate > , 4:3 or 16:9 and video resolution (640x480 , 1280x720 > .... etc) ? > Hope u can reply Actually, all I use for AVIs (which form the majority of high quality clips in my collection) is VirtualDub on Direct Stream Copy for both audio and video. That way you can make use of the keyframes and clip out anything you don't want--in my case that would be guys, or anything not related to the scene--without losing any quality or having to re-compress the file. It really is a very handy tool, and I would encourage any fellow DiD-clippers to use it. Sam http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/virtualdub/VirtualDub-1.9.8.zip?download ================ |

Sam, as a token of my appreciation for your hard work, here's a (relatively high quality) copy of a scene from Sunset Beach featuring Laura Harring. Interesting, I have the opposite problem. In Real Player I got perfect audio but no video. But I when I play the file in quicktime, I get audio and video. Try playing the file in Quicktime. |

Those scenes, including that of Sarah Enright's, have been posted here before. However, for easier access, here's a link on Rob's with all 8 scenes prior to that of Jodi Gordon's: |

I can't watch it right now due to internet connection problems. |

I'm glad I saved it (always gotta be quick on the draw when it comes to Youtube, because you never know when stuff gets deleted). There were altogether 4 parts to that short film, and they are still featured on this Youtube channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/RedandTan However, for those wanting to watch the files outside of Youtube (and I still strongly recommend MPC player coupled with the K-Lite codec pack, as well as the Real Alternative and Quicktime Alternative codecs), here's a ZIP archive containing all 4 parts in the usual high quality MP4 format: |
