In the end, regardless of whether someone else is capping something or if I'm just editing out bits of their caps, the original owners remain the producers. Perhaps I could gather up all the posts I've made (whilst still continuing to make them here) and make a large topic on Rob's with the same stuff? In the end, the main thing is to get high quality clips to everyone for free--without any obligation of trading. I just enjoy posting this stuff for free, because that's how it should be. |

| Another question : Sometimes i download a high quality movies but the problem is that the frame size (resolution ) for it is for example 640x277 (a widescreen which the width is very large compared to height) then whenever i try to cpnver it to full screen , its height stretchs in a bad way that don't look like normal , so is there any way to convert widescreen movies to a fullscreen ones in a fine way ? |

That way you can make use of the keyframes and clip out anything you don't want--in my case that would be guys, or anything not related to the scene--without losing any quality or having to re-compress the file. It really is a very handy tool, and I would encourage any fellow DiD-clippers to use it. |

I know what you mean. Unfortunately there is no way of changing the native aspect ratio of an AVI video without re-compressing it. Using MPC player, you'll have to manually set the aspect ratio to the correct one (which can sometimes be tricky, if it's something weird like 1:85, 3:2 or 1:66). However, all is not lost because this program below can change the display aspect ratio of an AVI without any re-compression (although underneath it'll still be wrong; it just does it automatically for you): |

| Very nice program sam :) The "direct steam copy" feature is the perfect feature for all DID lovers , as it keeps the same quality for the original video with the same resolution and the same frame rate , and over that all it takes 0 seconds to make the output video :D , As soon as u press the save button , u will get your video Its only drawback is that cutting scenes in a different marks is somehow a hard process as its a reverse of a usual cutting method , u must delete all the video except the scenes u desire and u should make it one by one , i wished that it feature something that i can mark several marks directly , thats the only drawback i saw , is there a simple solution for it , Sam ? Thanks again for the great program that will save a lot of my time and save quality also |

| Since a lot of people seem to have brought up Sweet Valley High, does anyone have all the scenes from the series? There was one for each sister in the "Kidnapped" episodes and Cynthia Daniel got a black tape gag in the last season if i'm not mistaken, it appears it's quite rare... I know the scenes have been posted on youtube but i never got around to saving them (silly me) and now i can't find them... Thanks in advance! |

| Just to clarify my rationale on these clips--if I see something on Raffish or MajorJohn's that deserves a high quality version, I simply do a Megaupload/Rapidshare search on various locations (which is very easy) and download the entire episode/movie and clip out the scene from there. I find it fun compiling clips that way (often completely replacing any grainy versions I had before), and it's no trouble for me at all. I fully encourage everyone to share these clips wherever they please. Consider it the 'duty' of every DiD fan to spread them around. In any case, this is a very large file but the scene is long as well. It's definitely worth watching, plus it has one of those not-so-common (yet oh-so-cute) knotted bandana cleaves we all love: |

That's totally false. There are times of the day when Megaupload has a smaller download limit (usually between 5PM and 10PM), but otherwise it's much better than Rapidshare--which only allows a single download per 15 minutes. And what's with the snide remark about a "free ride"? That's exactly what I'm doing here. These are high quality alternatives to grainy clips, and evidently a rather popular one at that--one hasn't had any complaints so far. |
