They manage to hold it over her mouth for a few seconds, but she fights back and ends up kicking their asses. Much later, in the second half, Karen (Collins) and her fugitive boyfriend take a train in an attempt to evade their pursuers. Karen goes to get food from the cafeteria, but does not realize one of the bad guys following her. He suddenly grabs and handgags her, dragging her into an empty compartment and forcing her down onto the floor. As she lies face-up and terrified, he straddles her and pulls out a gun, threatening to cut off one of her fingers if she does not tell him the whereabouts of her boyfriend on the train. She is next shown still lying on the floor, her arms now stretched out above her head and bound together with a black ziptie against a metal chair. She is also gagged with a strip of duct tape, through which she mmpphhs and grunts cutely. Since her legs are unbound, she thrashes around and kicks down a drinking glass from a nearby table. When it breaks, she manages to free herself offscreen. |

He hand gags and drags her out to a car. The kidnappers then take her to another house where she's bound to a chair with what seems like an entire roll of duct tape with bindings around her wrists (behind her back), waist and ankles (to the chair legs). She tries to bargain with one of the kidnappers but is tape gagged to keep her quiet. They then make a video ransom call to her mom. Several shots of Brooke bound and gagged with great emoting and "mmmmphing" . After the call, the tape is ripped off her mouth and she's left still tied to the chair. The mom replays the video chat of Brooke tied up to her husband. A few minutes after Brooke is untied. The entire scene from the kidnapping til she's untied lasts about 30 min. About 1hr 40min in, she's been untied and locked in a bedroom. One of the kidnappers bear hugs her and puts his hand over mouth. |

The two are tied to chairs (hands in front, feet tied, arms tied) and briefly duct tape gagged as the nut calls mom to pull her into the house. Mom quickly arrives and finds the duo and peels off the gags. A badly choreographed struggle then ensues, with mom grabbing the bad guy's gun and shooting him. Scene is darkly lit. Later, they are brought into his house with their ankles cuffed together with a long chain. These are removed onscreen, after which they remain in captivity but unbound for a while. Both receive separate scenes near the end; Abigail is first left alone to sit on the floor with one hand cuffed to a stove, but eventually gets free with some effort and escapes into the snowy wilderness. Meanwhile, Allison is driven somewhere in the villain's car with her hands cuffed behind her back. At a remote location by the road, she is allowed to step out of the car and her hands are uncuffed onscreen. Occurs at 51-55mins and 1hr 10-13mins of the Lifetime broadcast without commercials. |

Later, she has the gag removed and is eventually untied. In the following episode, she is still untied, but continues to wear the gag around her neck. She is wearing a denim romper and boots. Looks really cute. |

In a panic, she begins to run out of the apartment only to be grabbed by a man and dragged off. We next see her a minute later now bound (hands in front unfortunately) and thickly cleave gagged with a towel in a different apartment. The man who grabbed her goes on some spiel about his haunted family while he prepares to sacrifice Kim who looks on in terror and gives us some good mmphing/gag talk. After a few minutes of this, the man is about to commence the sacrifice with some ritual knife when Kim manages to knee him in the groin, take the knife, and stab him in the eye. She then ungags herself and runs off to another apartment where she unties herself. |

(Why she never got past the episodic-TV guest-role phase in her career eludes me, and she did a lot of those; what little I have seen of her shows her acting ability and the camera certainly loved her.) This show was also from the age of the 30-minute drama. About thirteen minutes in (on the DVD), Barrett (who plays Jane Cowan) is accosted by two villains, grabbed roughly and hand-gagged as she is hustled into a back office after trying to put the squeeze on the villains for misusing her modeling photos (Bronson plays a photographer, so many of the plots have some connection to models). Immediately after the break following her being hand-gagged, we see her being tied to a chair (wrists tied tightly to the arms of the chair; the villains also know how to tie properly), cleave-gagged convincingly and tightly, and her ankles tied cross-wise. This scene continues off and on for the rest of the episode. Barrett is freed briefly at one point, and after she fulfills the villains' instructions, she makes a break for it, giving us a second capture-and-tie-up scene. The two times she is ungagged, she really sells the viewer that she has been tightly gagged for a long time. She also mmmphs and struggles wonderfully. Barrett wears a period tight-fitting dress and high-heeled pumps, and is a prototypical beautiful woman of the late 1950s. If she were transported to this year, she'd still be a knockout; a timeless beauty. When the lead villain tells the other to "tie up that doll, and tie her up good," he describes her perfectly. Absolutely great scene, although the bad guys are a bit rough on the DiD at one point. |

Donlon struggles mightily, but is clearly going to lose the fight until she is rescued just in time. Donlon wears a period sleeveless tight-fitting dress and high-heeled pumps. Good but brief scene, and there is no actual bondage; for hand-gag fans only. |

The unconscious Gaby is tied up in a loose hogtie and the villainess gags her onscreen with a piece of silver duct tape. When next we see her, Gaby is sitting on the ground of a shed with her arms tied over her head. The tape gag is removed shortly afterwards and the villainess beats the bound woman, clubbing her ribs with a rusty pipe. A few scenes of the semi-conscious Gaby still with her arms bound over her head follow. Later, we get a view of the unconscious Gaby in the backseat of a truck, her arms tied behind her back, her legs tied together and again gagged with silver duct tape. The villainess pays two men to carry the unconscious Gaby onto her boat and she speeds off with the bound woman for the soap's climactic scenes. When we cut back to her, Gaby is awake and the tape gag has been removed. The villainess prepares to shoot the bound woman, but is interrupted when a police boat carrying the soap's hero speeds toward her. A boat chase follows during which Gaby is able to cut the ropes binding her hands on the boat's anchor. |
