| First of all I'd like to thank everyone, especially Brian R, for their great help in finding the elusive Hardcase scene. It was quite a trip! I have another one, and I posted this here before and got no response but I'm hoping for maybe better luck this time. Perhaps one reason it elicited no response was there's no gag (sorry about that) but I am obsessed with locating this scene for the following reason: I had it in my collection before. I know I did. I'm 99.9 percent certain it comes from "24," and it involves Cherry Jones, who played the president of the U.S. on the show, being kidnapped and held in handcuffs in a basement somewhere, so it should be easy to track down the scene again since there are all sorts of fan wikis that trace the trajectory of the story. But I can't find any references to the president being kidnapped (I didn't watch the show regularly when it was on) even though I'm positive I remember this scene! So am I losing my mind?!? Anyway, the scene begins with Cherry waking up lying in some isolated basement somewhere. Her hands are elaborately cuffed in front of her. She pulls at her cuffs in frustration; her "guard," a chick with grrl power, sees she's awake and says into a walkie talkie or phone, "This is Crystal. The president is awake." I remember thinking what a hell of a name for a kidnapper/guard. Crystal. Kind of undermines her "baddieness." Were Kellie and Aimee taken? Anyway, the president starts interrogating Crystal about her driver...is he okay? The scene goes on from there but that's the flavor. I can't find this anywhere on the planet. But I don't think I've reached the point in life where I'm having hallucinations or delusions, so if anyone can prove to me this scene exists I would be most grateful. Bonus if you can tell me the episode/season # and title. Again, many thanks. I need to know this isn't part of some delusion. ;-) |

And the other girl, the lead actress Nana Stambolishvili gets captured in the next episode, so there might be a scene but given the show's history of missed opportunities, I wouldn't bet my life on it, but hey, let's hope. |
