A sheet is wrapped around her torso and a pillow case covers her head. After they lower her into a buckboard, the elder son removes the pillow case and we see an indignant Kitty detective gagged with a light colored cloth. She's lowered into the buckboard and Pa advises his son to sit on her, as she's mighty squirmy. Scene starts about seventeen minutes into the episode (no commercials) and lasts for a bit less than a minute. Even though the scene takes place at night, it's relatively well-lit. Annie gives Phoebe some sass, she winds up bound hand and foot in a loose frontal hogtie, and the rope is tied off to Phoebe's elbow. One of the troglodytes prods Annie with a pointed stick, encouraging her to sing a song to while away the evening. Fortunately the marshal rescues her immediately thereafter. The handgag scene takes place about the 35 minute mark and 38 minute mark, and the second scene takes place about five minutes from the end of the episode and goes on for about four minutes. The Native American scallywags leave a spear behind as a message, which one of the good guys quickly snaps over his knee in frustration. We know how he feels, because that's the sum total of interesting scenes: Ames is unbound in all scenes following the opening credits. Miss Kitty's young female friend is tied outside the barn, her arms are spread and tied to a corral crossbar about chest high, and her feet are tied together. She is wearing a ragged shift that occasionally shows a lot of leg. She is not gagged, as she cannot speak and only makes squealing-type noises. Miss Kitty cuts her free, but they are recaptured, resulting in Kitty being tied in the barn and the girl being placed in a small home made wood cage in the back of a wagon. They finally run Hannon (Ben Johnson), the leader of the gang, to earth at a homesteading couple's covered wagon. At the 35 minute mark (with commercials), we see a quick shot of the man and woman in the wagon held prisoner. The man is cleave-gagged and the woman is detective gagged with a red cloth (over the bonnet!). Both have their hands in front. Hannon drags the woman to the front of the wagon, threatening to shoot her if the posse doesn't back off, but Newly sneaks behind and gets the drop on the owlhoot, thereby rescuing the couple. The entire sequence lasts about a minute fifteen seconds. The two quick scenes last about four or five seconds each, but both include close-ups of the gagged woman's face. Here she spends the entire episode in captivity, from beginning to end. In the opening 3mins, Saskia (Petzl) is out for a run at the beach when she is tripped by a wire that has been set up. When she takes a tumble, a crooked yachtsman tasers her in the back. Turns out he is after ransom, and knows that she is the lover of one of the coastguards. Despite being at the beach, she is dressed in a blue jacket and turquoise running slacks. Soon, at 4-7mins, Saskia is shown lying unconscious on the floor of his yacht; her hands are tied behind her back and around a post with yellow rope, feet unbound, and she is tightly cleave gagged with a very thick pale blue dishcloth. She awakens and sits up, struggles halfheartedly, but stays quiet except for a few quiet muffled grunts as the yachtsman mills around doing other things. Great expressions from her; not looking particularly distressed, but rather just annoyed. At 10-15mins he ungags her, and she stays like this for the rest of the episode. One quick glimpse of her at 17mins, as she yells out and complains. More at 21-23mins and 26-29mins, with the gag cloth still around her neck. The yachtsman angrily takes her above deck to show her something in the sea, hands still tied behind her back, but she winds up accidentally getting knocked out again. Continues at 30-33mins. Saskia is sitting on the floor against the post as before, and has been re-gagged, but this time we get some truly gorgeous close-ups of her face; her lips look especially luscious over the cloth, with her mouth parted wide open and making her look almost identical to how she did in Medicopter. There is, however, a nasty gash on the side of her forehead from the earlier knockout. She is once again ungagged for some conversation with the yachtsman, who dabs off the blood with a white cloth and some water, and applies a bandaid to the cut. From 36mins all the way until the end of the episode, the coastguard arrives to negotiate Saskia's release. In tow with them they have the yachtsman's wife, Dörthe (Petra Kleinert), who pleads with him to give himself up. This finally happens at 42mins and all ends well.
