Two villains overpower her and leave her tied up whilst they attempt to break into a safe containing the apparatus. Wendy is gagged detective style using a thick white cloth. Her hands are tied behind her. There is a very generous amount of onscreen struggling and muffled protestations. A great sequence. |

Title: Highway Patrol Medium: TV Series Actress: Gloria Grant Description: Episode: "Plane Crash" (1.23) Ginny Barlow (Grant), the well-proportioned daughter of a numbers racketeer, is kidnapped by the gangster's gardner and his lovely wife. The crooks order the victim's parents to fly into a remote area of a national forest to deliver the ransom and then decide to force the pilot to fly them back to civilization stranding the victim and her parents deep in the backwoods. Unbeknownst to criminal and victim, a forest ranger has alerted Chief Dan Mathews and his highway patrol cohorts, who make a hash of the kidnappers plans. Action starts at the 17:45 mark (no commercials) when the buxom girl is dragged onto the porch of a remote cabin, hands bound behind her back and detective gagged with a thick white cloth tied tightly over her lips. The gag is removed after a minute or so, but the girl remains bound until the 22:30 mark, when she's finally released. We only get a brief look at her bound wrists, but there are a couple of nice close-ups of her gagged face before the cloth is removed. The kidnapped wearing a tight-fitting turtleneck sweater and a long plaid shirt. Unfortunately, Tara Summers, the actress who plays one of the kidnappers doesn't get handcuffed on-screen when she's arrested - she's even better looking than the kidnap victim. |
