| Lemme get the usual technical gripes out of the way first: this is not my best batch of screenshots, reason being that I've never been able to get MPC to handle 1080i well enough for that purpose. Whether it's MPEG-2 or H.264, it just can't seem to make frame-accurate stills of what I'd deem to be the perfect DiDcap. Different story with anything encoded to progressive, as opposed to lossless interlaced as we have here. Now for my ravings about the actual scene: this has to be one of THE best old-school scenes I've ever seen. I absolutely love it! And I never even knew about it until the other day when I saw some pics on a DiD-related Tumblr blog (many of which are very good btw). It sucks that modern scenes are never like this; light-hearted, fiesty damsel wearing a skimpy outfit, giving it all she's got in order to escape, and not too long or short. Some DiDfans might disagree with me, but having watched this I can honestly say that all these grim CSI-type scenes we keep getting nowadays, with their dark lighting & damsels being brutally maimed.....can go to hell. I wouldn't miss them at all. It features the cute Linzey Cocker gagged with duct tape with her hands bound in front - think it would be a absolutely classic scene if the framing was better. Anyway, this will hopefully tide people over until a talented clipper gets hold of it. Enjoy. |
