It was a long scene and it actually had 3 other versions of the end with different villains so none of the cast members knew who the real villain was until it aired. The scene's pretty short, but made interesting by the fact that, when the bad guys order Kay to sit down, she crosses her wrists behind her back without being asked. When the heroic Mountie finally shows up (musta been out eating donuts), he finds Kay tied tightly to a chair and detective gagged with a dark silken cloth. We are all familiar with the many scenes in the serials produced in the US during the 40's - 50's. Does anyone know if there were any similar serials, with DID scenes, made in other countries and if they are available? |
