Record number: 13995 Title: Midnight Movie (2008) Medium: Movie Actress: Rebekah Brandes, Brea Grant, Mandell Maughan, Melissa Steach Description: Horror movie that pays off, starting around 1:07. Our hero Bridget (Brandes) finds all of her allegedly-murdered friends are locked, away, all bound and gagged. Both genders are represnted here, and the dudes outnumber the damsels. Maughan is chained and gagged, but it's bloody and distant and brief. Grant is shown chained to a wall, sitting on the floor, cleave gagged. Brief scene, maybe 2 seconds. As we pan around, we see Maughan in a nice close up, cleavegagged and barely conscious. After this, Bridget is knocked unconscious. When she awakes, she find herself fastened to a table, and cleave gagged. Great chewing and mewing on the gag, and many decent closeups before the gag is removed. She undergoes a little of pain afterwards, and escapes but not before you see briefly the padded wrist cuffs that confine her. Above average scene. Worth checking out. |

When one of the team identifies her as an escape artist, he takes away her lockpick, and has her wrists duct taped to the armrests. She still manages to escape (off-camera). |

(2) Near the end, she's possessed by an evil spirit, and in preparation for a sort of "witches' exorcism," she's seen tied to a chair with rope, legs criss-crossed from ankles to thighs, ropes encircling her upper arms, torso, and the chair; and lower arms lashed to the chair arms from wrists to elbows. No gag. There's a brief long shot and a brief head shot. The second scene comes in around the 85' mark, and ends about a minute later. |
