Later hero Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford) stumbles upon her in a Bedouin tent, cleave gagged with a sodden hankerchief, her wrists bound behind her back and around the center pole which supports the tent's roof. Indy ungags her and they have a tender reunion (he thought she was dead) but then rethinks the situation and decides to regag her much to her understandable (and vocal) dismay. Later, she is seen in the same predicament, briefly, as she tries to squirm away from one of the villians who unties her. In these scenes she's wearing slacks and a white and red patterned blouse. Towards the end of the film, Marion and Indy are tied to a stake back to back while the Nazis prepare to open the Ark. The ropes, curiously, tie their left wrists to the corresponding right one of their partner. When the spirits of the Ark are released, they destroy the Nazis and burn through the heroes bindings, leaving them unscathed. In the latter scene, Marion is wearing a white satin cocktail dress. |

Obviously, she's 25 years older now, but still very pretty. The scene is deliberately very similar to the first one. Marion & Indy are captured by the bad guys and have their hands tied behind their backs (never shown) and they begin arguing, loudly. The guard finally has enough and when Marion ignores his demands to shut up, he gets a cloth and cleave gags her onscreen. Marion continues to argue as she is being gagged, almost not even paying attention to the guard at all. As we can make out most of what she's saying, it shows how ineffective cleave gags are. The guard may have the same fate in mind for Indy, but doesn't get the chance. Marion is ungagged onscreen in the next scene. Good lighting, close up shot. |

| "Nora Hanen Buchanan" (Hillary B. Smith) was bound and gagged in the episodes of ONE LIFE TO LIVE from this past Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. These episodes will be rerun during Soapnet's ONE LIFE TO LIVE marathon early Sunday morning (Dec 12). Here are the times of the episodes (all times eastern) with details of what happened: Monday's episode (12:00 AM - 1:00 AM): "Nora" is bound throughout the entire episode. She is gagged during the last 15 minutes of the episode. The advertisement for the show with "Nora" blindfolded and posing as "Justice" was shown again during the episode (but without a voiceover). Wednesday's episode (2:00 AM - 3:00 AM): "Nora" is BOUND and GAGGED throughout the entire episode. However, her feet are not bound. She uses her BARE FEET (with painted toenails) to use a television remote control to turn the television on and to turn up the volume in order to attract attention. However, her captor returns and turns the television off. He then binds her feet. The preview for Thursday's episode shows her bound and gagged. Thursday's episode (3:00 AM - 4:00 AM): "Nora" is bound throughout the entire episode. At first she is gagged, but her gag is removed at 24 minutes into the episode. 30 minutes into the episode, the advertisement for the show which features "Nora" (who is a lawyer) posing as the figure of "Justice" while blindfolded was shown again. 37 minutes into the episode, "Danielle Rayburn" (Kelley Missal) is shown holding a pencil between her teeth while holding books. The preview for Friday's episode shows "Nora" bound but not gagged. Friday's episode (4:00 AM - 5:00 AM): "Nora" is bound throughout the entire episode. At first she is not gagged, but then her gag is put back on at 13 minutes into the episode. She remains bound and gagged for the rest of the episode. The preview for Monday's episode does not show her. However, her bondage scene may continue in Monday's episode. |
