Record number: 11971 Title: The Prisoner of Zenda (1937) Medium: Movie Actress: Eleanor Wesselhoeft Description: Between fifteen and twenty minutes in, she's drugged and left roped to a chair and wrap-gagged. The scene is exactly like Kathleen Freeman's in the 1952 Technicolor film version of this story, right down to the dialogue, which is understandable since the latter film was made as a shot-for-shot duplicate of the original. |
