Record number: 1097 Title: Johnny Guitar (1954) Medium: Movie Actress: Joan Crawford Description: Odd Western with Crawford as a saloonkeeper accosted by a mob led by her main rival (Mercedes McCambridge), searching for a young tough she's sheltering. When they find him hiding under a table, they decide it's time for a little frontier justice. After a brief struggle, they grab Crawford and lead her outside, where she and the boy are put on horses with their hands tied behind their backs, then ride off with the mob to the light of the flickering flames of the torched saloon. They stop underneath a bridge over which nooses are thrown. After the boy is done in, Crawford's horse is led to the remaining noose, but the men have second thoughts. For a moment she sits with the noose around her neck while McCambridge solicits a volunteer to slap the horse out from under her, before taking the job on herself at Crawford's suggestion. When she does, it carries Crawford off to safety, an unseen cohort having slipped onto the bridge and cut the rope. He is shown untying Crawford and helping her down off the horse a few seconds later. |

She is carried from the back of a van, ankles tied and wrists bound in front. She's gagged with duct tape. The young woman removes the tape from Dr. Hobson's mouth and explains why she must die and then the young man dumps the unhappy woman in an already dug grave and starts to bury her alive. Her screams alert Lewis and Hathaway who rescue the intended victim in a nick of time. Dr. Hobson is wearing a long sleeve pullover and slacks during her ordeal. |

Around the 30' mark, a cute raven-haired Latina with a smoking body (Mena), gets punched unconscious by another female. When we next see Mena, she is laying on a bed, loosely hogtied and cleave-gagged. The cleave is pretty nice in the first scene, but in later scenes, unfortunately becomes more of a loosey. Nonetheless, Mena is a hottie and worth seeing. There is over three minutes of scene time over a total of four or five scenes. In the last scene, Mena escapes her bonds and we get to see her ungag herself as well. Good stuff! wearing a skirt and is barefoot throughout the scene. Also, a guy comes into the room and begins fondling the damsel, then proceeds to have his way with her (as the scene fades to commercial). |
