Marta, playing a blonde high school student, is kidnapped by janitor William Windom. He has her tied and gagged with a white cloth that sometimes is between her teeth and sometimes over her mouth. She is bound and gagged in an abandoned restaurant, a school auditorium, the back of a trailer and finally, the metal stairs at the top of an old power plant. She is a meek and scared captive. Sometimes the school scene, where she sits gagged in the front row while her kidnapper does a vaudeville act, is cut from reruns. |

Record number: 2955 Title: Adventures of Superman (1952) Medium: TV Series Actress: Noel Neill Description: Episode: "Clark Kent, Outlaw" (3.8) Clark concocts a scheme to infiltrate a gang of jewel thieves by allowing himself to be fired and publicly humilated from The Planet. The thieves are happy to recruit him, once they discover his knack for cracking safes. Lois and Jimmy follow him on a caper to try and turn him away from a life of crime and get captured. Clark convinces the crooks to drag them back to The Planet building, where the two reporters can be killed in a fiery accident, and the building torched at the same time. Lois and Jimmy are loosely bound back to back to chairs with twine (which encircles their bodies, but their hands aren't tied, leaving Lois able to maintain a tenacious grip on the strap of her purse with her white-gloved fingers) and loosely detective gagged with handkerchiefs while Clark sets the fire in a chair in Perry White's office. The camera shoots the pair from in front of Lois, which effectively diminishes Jimmy's presence, and enhances Lois' brief struggles as her captors escape. Good news for the good guys: it turns out that the chair is fireproof and Clark secretly triggered the fire alarm as he and the crook fled the building. This was the first of the show's episodes shot in color to contain a scene. |

The display starts at 7min when renovations knock down a wall which is concealing a cell built into the wall in Adriana's home/brothel. Adriana (Katherine) explains to Grace (Stephanie) that the cell had been used by her and her husband. Finding a suitcase full of S&M toys in the cell, Adriana starts to explain their function when two of the resident hookers come into the room. The blonde hooker volunteers to get into the cage, and is quickly stripped topless. Grace plays the wartenberg wheel over her skin. The blonde is then blindfolded and chained up with her arms spread. Rosalie, the other hooker, plays with her in the background while Adriana and Grace talk in the foreground. At 18min Grace's interest has been piqued enough that she wants to go to an S&M club to see what its all about. While she is putting on her dominatrix outfit and admiring herself in the mirror, she bites down on her collar, which creates an interesting faux gag effect. Arriving at the club at 21min, Grace and Adriana get a look at all of the other guests, including a girl tied to a St. Andrew's cross being flogged, a topless girl being spanked and a blonde intricately tied into a suspended hogtie, shibari style. All of these images flash by very quickly. There are more leisurely views of the other guests lounging around the bar, all dressed in leather or latex. At 31min Grace discovers that Adriana has been lying to her about various things, and decides to get even. She climbs into Adriana's bed, slaps her, and then orders her to get up. Adriana is blindfolded, then locked into the cell. Grace threatens her with the S&M toys, but doesn't have the instinct to actually use them. She settles for making Adriana watch while she has sex with her husband in front of her. As the episode ends, Grace checks into a hotel room by herself. She strips down to a negligee, pulls the curtains, blindfolds herself and stretches out on the bed. |
