Record number: 4277 Title: The Fuller Brush Girl (1950) Medium: Movie Actress: Lucille Ball, Gale Robbins Description: Lucille Ball is out trying to sell brushes. Well, she is mistaken for a babysitter and is left with several kids. After failing to stop the mother, Lucille reenters the house and is lassoed by the kid cowboys. As the real babysitter arrive, you can hear Lucille screaming. As the sitter finds them, Ms. Ball is shown tied to a post of the bunk bed and the kids actually set a fire to burn her at the stake. This occurs about 20 minutes into the episode. Lucille Ball hides in a show girl's dressing room behind a three-section divider. When the show girl walks in, 'Lucy' wraps the divider around her and pins her to the floor by sitting on top of the divider. The show girl opens wide to scream and 'Lucy' jams a powdering pad into her mouth and secures the stuffing with scarves. Then secures her inside the divider with various garments. |

Record number: 20066 Title: Hawaii Five-0 (2010) Medium: TV Series Actress: Grace Park, unknown Description: Episode: "Mai ho´oni i ka wai lana mâlie" (6.01) aka "Do Not Disturb the Water that is Tranquil" Kono (Park) gets her best scene yet in the series. At 11mins she and boyfriend Adam are having dinner at their beachside home, but are interrupted when some intruders zap them both with a stun gun. At 16-17mins Kono wakes up sitting on a chair, hands tied to the armrests with lots of thick rope, feet spread apart and tied to the chair legs. Adam sits opposite her, also tied to a chair, and is being punched repeatedly. Continuing at 21-23mins, Kono is now gagged with a wide strip of duct tape. No struggling from her, but she mmpphhs once as Adam gets kicked over in his chair. More at 32-33mins, except this time Adam is gagged and Kono ungagged. Offscreen, she has been tortured by having a tooth extracted, which is shown to the camera to start the sequence. As a result, her mouth is quite bloody. The intruders aggressively pull her head back to pull out another tooth, but stop when Adam gives them the information they want. At 34-35mins Kono is alone (Adam having been taken elsewhere) and starts to struggle on the chair. After rocking it back and forth, she manages to grab a scalpel from the table (with the roll of tape visible) and uses it to viciously dispose of one of her captors. She then unties herself onscreen and escapes. At the end of the episode, at 38-39mins, the 5-0 team discover a middle-aged mother and her son at another house. They are sat next to each other on chairs, hands tied behind the backrests with rope, more rope around their upper bodies, feet unbound, and each cleave gagged with a thick white towel. When the team enter the house, the mother mmpphhs quietly and motions to them with her head as to the whereabouts of the intruders. The two captives are freed offscreen, but shown being led out of the house by the team. All times based on the iTunes release without commercials. Excellent close-ups and full-body views of Park, who wears an unbuttoned white shirt over a white lace camisole, and black tap pants/French knickers; her legs (and bare feet) look a real treat. |
