Record number: 12065 Title: Heavy Southern Nights (2005) aka Southern Justice Medium: Movie Actress: Amanda Phillips, Christi Wilson, Erica McQueeny, Annette Matlock, Kristi Wirz Description: Handcuffs are the preferred restraints employed throughout this bizarre low-budget entry about exotic dancers targeted by a fundamentalist cult. Phillips' character, however, faces a more mundane situation. She agrees to accompany a customer to a motel, only to have him and his buddies decide to start playing rough upon her arrival. She manages to lock herself in the room and call her boss for help before they batter their way in, stripping her to her undies and gagging her with duct tape. One of the baddies is shown cuffing her wrists behind her just as her boss comes to her rescue. The next victim (Wilson) isn't so lucky, her nude body showing up on a boat dock with her wrists cuffed behind her about ten minutes later. Matlock's character is shown after suffering a similar fate at about an hour and seven minutes, although she is apparently clad in a dark bathing suit and her cuffed wrists aren't clearly visible. Between these two occurences, at about 33 minutes, McQueeny's character is actually shown being drowned. She stands next to her assailant in a swimming pool. Her cuffed wrists are clearly visible as he bends her over at the waist to dunk her head. Wirz, playing the male lead's daughter, is given similar treatment during the film's climax at about an hour and 30 minutes. Her cuffed wrists are shown in a couple of closeup shots after she's pulled from the pool and her rescuers attempt to resuscitate her. |

Record number: 488 Title: The Big Hit (1998) Medium: Movie Actress: China Chow Description: China Chow (a beautiful eurasian model) is restrained in various ways beginning at around the 32' mark (with commercials). She wears a schoolgirl outfit -- plaid, pleated miniskirt; starched white dress shirt and tie; and cute little white shoes. She is kidnapped by a gang that includes the benevolent Mark Wahlberg. The gang binds her hands behind her with silver handcuffs, and she is handgagged during the initial scene. After this, her ankles are tied with a white towel, and she is cleavegagged with another strip for a ride behind the back seat of an SUV. Mark ends up keeping her at his house in the suburbs. When they arrive, he cuffs her hands in front around a pole in his basement. Later, he moves her to another house, where he tries to keep her hidden from his fiancée and her parents. Her hands are cuffed behind her and her legs are tied, so she hops around the house mmphing through her towel gag in several scenes. Mark finally puts her in the back of his SUV, parked out of the way in the garage. He accidentally conks her on the head with the hatchback as he closes it. While he is otherwise occupied, the family takes it out for a drive, never noticing the unconscious China. When they return, Mark wraps her in a sleeping bag and hides her in the house while the family leaves again. He ungags her, so she can help him cook, and then cuffs her hand to his so she will be more effective. Sparks fly, and they start to make out, when, alarmed by a possibly innocuous comment (this is one amoral story, so who knows) he makes about "something so beautiful having to die" (along those lines, at any rate), she tries to escape. She is bound and gagged as before and thrown into the small trunk of his Firebird. We don't see her again until Mark goes for a car chase in the Firebird. She is released at the end of the chase. |

Record number: 1599 Title: The X-Files Medium: TV Series Actress: Gillian Anderson Description: Episode: "Orison" (7.7) In this sequel to "Irresistible", Scully (Anderson) is grabbed in her house by the escaped serial killer from the previous episode. Scene begins in the last fifteen minutes or so (32 minutes in without commercials). Scully is wearing grey pajamas and fuzzy slippers and after a short fight scene, she has her wrists tied behind her back with a pair of pantyhose and is handgagged by the bad guy. A bit later, the bad guy is dragging her, now stuffgagged with a white cloth and tightly cleave-gagged with a tan coloured stocking and with ankles bound together into a closet. She struggles for a bit before finally escaping from the closet by turning the doorknob with her hands bound together behind her. Then she slithers along the floor, under the bed and out the other side of the bed - occasionally pausing to hide from the killer as he passes through the room. Eventually she manages to slip her hands over her feet (which are not not tied up anymore) to bring them in front. Between the abduction and the end, the scene lasts about 7.5 minutes. Lots of struggling, mmphing, etc. |

The Bundys go on the show pretending to be Steve and Marcy. Steve and Marcy then show up at the end of the game show as Al and Peggy. The couple who survives the most abuse will be the winner. Peggy (Sagal) and Mona (Rusoff) are tied spread-eagle to a rotating game wheel and spun. Catherine Rusoff gets turned about 20 degrees before her husband turns her back upright, while Peggy gets plenty of rotations. |

This time she struggles off the bed and pulls her way across the floor with her legs to a table, upturning it into the bedroom's plate-glass window just after the gendarmerie exit the gate. Her captor returns, lifts her off the floor, deposits her on the bed and again removes her bonds. |
