| Title: Held Hostage (2009) Medium: TV Movie Actress: Julie Benz, Natasha Calis Description: Fact-based saga of a bank manager (Benz) and her daughter (Calis) taken captive in a home invasion by a gang plotting to force her to rob her workplace. Beginning about ten minutes in and continuing for maybe the next twenty, both are shown bound hand and foot with duct tape and gagged, Benz with a cloth stuffed into her mouth at first, but later with duct tape like Calis. Benz spends most of her screen time in a chair with her hands behind; Calis lies on a couch or in a bed with her hands in front. At the end of the sequence Benz is shown returning home to pull a bound and gagged Calis from a closet where the crooks left her during the heist. |
