Each of last three fiancee's have wound up dead. Her mother hires "Lucky" Downing to become engaged to her for a month and break the curse. Soon it's a young newspaper reporter covering the story (Marshall) that needs the luck; the bad guy grabs her, binds her wrists behind her back and detective-gags her with a spotted black cloth. She struggles and mmmphs deliciously. |
