Inside they find a girl gagged with duct tape, who has her hands taped in front of her. She slips her arms over the agent’s head as he lifts her out of the trunk. Quickie sequence, which takes approx. 2-3 seconds. Repeated during the close of the episode in sepia tones. |

Record number: 20070 Title: Stolen from the Suburbs (2015) Medium: TV Movie Actress: Sydney Sweeney, Cynthia Watros, Tetona Jackson, 5 unknowns Description: TV movie about a mother trying to rescue her daughter from a white slavery ring. 23 minutes in, cute blonde daughter Emma (Sydney Sweeney) is given a drugged drink by the guy she's flirting with. She passes out, and he carries her to a van, where a couple other kidnappers are waiting to drive off with her. She wakes up in a warehouse, where she's placed in a large cage along with a half dozen other girls, including her friend Courtney (Tetona Jackson). At the 36-minute mark, the seven girls are marched out for a photo/video shoot. All are now in their underwear or similarly revealing attire, and each has her right hand cuffed to the left hand of the girl in front. Courtney and then Emma are uncuffed and, after Courtney's hesitation earns her a punch in the gut, reluctantly participate in the shoot. At 50 minutes, we get a brief shot of Emma asleep with her right wrist handcuffed to a cot. At 61 minutes, the girls are once again cuffed in a line, now wearing nice dresses and cloth sacks over their heads. Emma manages to wiggle out of her cuff and makes a run for it, but she's quickly recaptured and dragged to a van with the other girls. At 72 minutes, mother Katherine (Cynthia Watros) has managed to locate the kidnappers, but one of them recognizes her and knocks her out with a blow. She wakes up on a cot with her hands bound above her head with zip ties. Ringleader Milena (Olivia d'Abo) interrogates Katherine about what she's told the police, threatening to harm Emma if she doesn't cooperate. A few minutes later, Katherine is untied and manages to steal a gun from a male captor. She forces him to lead her to a storeroom, where three of the girls are seen lying on mats, gagged over the mouth with cloth and with their hands implicitly tied behind their backs. Emma isn't among them, but she soon turns up as Milena's unbound hostage. It all ends happily. |
