| By far the best scene is Sheryl Lee spread face down nekked on the bed for about 4 minutes in this mostly confused crap fest! Title: Vampires (1998) aka John Carpenter's Vampires aka Vampire$ Medium: Movie Actress: Sheryl Lee Description: A duo of vampire hunters barely survive a raid gone wrong, and decide to take a surviving prostitute along with them. Katrina (Lee, of Twin Peaks fame) is first carried over the shoulder into their pickup at 22mins. Later, they stay at a motel where Katrina is left to sleep on a bed. At 39-42mins, she is shown lying face-down and naked; her arms are outstretched and tied to the bedposts with white rope, ankles crossed and tied together, and she is gagged with a wide strip of duct tape (which looks very sticky and well-adhered to her mouth in close-up). One of the vampire hunters, Tony, casually strolls over and tells her not to make a sound, while Katrina gives him a terrified wide-eyed look and some quiet whimpering. He then climbs over her and rips off the tape, which only prompts her to start screaming. This earns her a very tight handgag for a while, until she agrees to calm down and talk with Tony. At 51mins (now clothed again, but still in her skanky attire from earlier) she tries to escape from a window, but Tony throws her back inside. Turns out she was bitten during the raid, making her ravenous for blood. Tony decides to take no chances, so he knocks her out with a smack across the face and makes a call to some of his fellow vampire hunters for help. At 53-56mins we see Katrina (still unconscious) lying face-up on the bed again, hands tied in front but no other bonds or gag, while the hunters discuss what to do. She wakes up at some point, albeit without making any effort to get away this time. At 1hr 14mins, the hunters make another raid while Katrina sits in the pickup; her hands tied overhead to the roof, onscreen. She stays like this throughout several sequences until 1hr 26mins, when she manages to get free and chow down on Tony again. Besides the naked bed scene, Katrina is dressed in a purple cardigan over a sexy low-cut blouse, a tiny black miniskirt (plenty of upskirts), and is barefoot. Including commercials, the three scenes happen approximately between the .42-.45, .66-.68, and .84-.86 minutes marks, respectively; give a minute in each end. Alternatively, all the specific times above are based on the Blu-ray edition. |
