| Title: The X-Files Medium: TV Series Actress: Gillian Anderson Description: Episode: "Ascension" (2.06) Scully (Anderson) is shown being kidnapped from her home in the opening 2mins, via several quick flashbacks by Mulder. She is later seen a few times bound and gagged in the trunk of her abductor's car, starting at 8-9mins. No bonds shown, but she is cleave gagged with a white/red dishcloth; there is also blood on her lips and chin. After a police officer pulls the car over, Scully mmpphhs and kicks at the trunk to get his attention, but her captor shoots the officer and continues his journey. At 10mins, Mulder and a partner observe dashcam footage from the officer's car via a TV screen, with an enhanced close-up of Scully looking up out the trunk. An A4-sized printout is also shown. More brief shots of her in the trunk at 16mins and 19mins, and after that she is "taken" by the ETs offscreen. The sequences of her in the trunk are very darkly lit, except for when the trunk is opened. |
