Charlie's Angels
Day: Monday January 18 2021
Time: 2 AM Eastern
Channel: WNYA HD
Title: Charlie's Angels (2000)
Medium: Movie
Actress: Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz, Lucy Liu

Description: During the opening titles, at 6mins, there is a very brief scene where all the Angels -- Dylan (Barrymore), Natalie (Diaz) and Alex (Liu) -- do their take of the classic "Angels in Chains" episode. All three are wandering around in the woods, linked loosely together by handcuffs. Lasts only 5secs, as part of a montage.

At 1hr 11mins, the Angels are about to storm the villainous Knox's lighthouse fortress, when Dylan is captured at gunpoint by his henchwoman Vivian (Kelly Lynch). Over the next 9mins, we see Dylan tied quite securely to a wooden chair with rope; hands behind the backrest, feet tied apart to the chair legs. Knox spends some time taunting her, then gags her onscreen with a wide strip of duct tape (which has red lips drawn on it), eliciting a helpless mmpphh. He then returns to tracking the other Angels, all while Dylan struggles on the chair and looks on with a worried expression; many lovely close-ups. Eventually Knox ungags her, but not before laying a big smooch over her taped mouth. She is then left alone with several henchmen, but of course ends up escaping from the ropes and kicking their asses at 1hr 20mins.
