Record number: 25673 Title: The Nanny Murders Medium: TV Movie Actress: Kennedy Tucker, Mia Topalian Description: In the final 10 minutes of this Lifetime movie, Jamie (Mia Topalian) is attacked as she enters her car, but escapes and steals a bicycle to ride home. She enters the house in a panic and finds roommate Claire (Kennedy Tucker) tied up and cleave-gagged with a rag. Claire is only shown from a side angle as Jamie enters the house and then again in an extreme closeup as Jamie ungags her quickly. One of the bad guys then chloroforms Jamie with a white cloth as Claire screams. The scene then fades to commercial. When we resume, Jamie and Claire are tied back to back in the basement but not gagged. The two bad guys enter and one takes Claire out of the room as the other one details his plans for Jamie. Jamie gets free from her bonds (nothing really shown) and escapes. Another female shows up and helps her escape. Claire is not shown again until the cops are cleaning up the scene and it's revealed she's been rescued. |

Record number: 16099 Title: Hawaii Five-0 (2010) Medium: TV Series Actress: Grace Park, Reiko Aylesworth Description: Episode: "Ua Hala" (2.23) aka "Death in The Family" Scene starts at the 0:51 mark. Kono (Park) and Malia (Aylesworth) are shown via split screen on a laptop screen, held at separate locations, and each gagged with a strip of duct tape. There are several views of the laptop screen, with live video being streamed of the damsels, who are seen only from the neck up at this point. Daniel Dae Kim (Chin Ho Kelly) is forced to choose which damsel he is going to save. Scene shifts to a yacht with Kono sitting on the edge, hands duct taped in front. Couple of close-ups of her gagged face. She is then dumped into the sea after the bad guy calls the henchman and receives his instructions. Elsewhere, Malia is discovered at her home, unbound but still gagged; the tape is peeled off her mouth onscreen. She is barely conscious due to having been stabbed. The scene continues underwater as we see Kono struggling for her life, still bound and gagged. A couple of notes concerning Kono's abduction: there was no capture scene for her. All we see is her entering her house while the bad guy watches from a car. Following that, the scene cuts to a commercial. In the scene, Park is wearing a dirty white t-shirt, pants and shoes. Aylesworth is wearing a blue sleeveless top as she is only seen from the waist up. Overall, not a bad scene and much better than her one in the previous episode. |

Kono Kalakaua (Park) has a gun placed in her face. After the commercial break (or 35mins without commercials), a colleague of hers breaks into the house. He hears mmpphhing from a room, where he discovers Kono lying on the floor, bound and gagged with duct tape: her hands are taped behind her back, feet taped together, and she is gagged with a strip. The tape is peeled off her mouth onscreen, after which she is cut free from the rest of her bonds. The views are not particularly good; one quick mid-range shot and a close-up. Park wears an orange sleeveless top, jeans and black shoes. |

Record number: 16288 Title: Hawaii Five-0 (2010) Medium: TV Series Actress: Grace Park Description: Episode: "La O Na Makuahine" (3.1) aka "Mother's Day" Picking up from the season 2 cliffhanger, Grace had been sitting on the railing of a boat with her wrists duct taped in front of her, her ankles taped and gagged with a wide strip of tape. She had been flipped backwards into the water, and was sinking into the Pacific. As this episode begins, she quickly loses consciousness as she sinks, but is immediately pulled out of the water and pushed into a dinghy, where she is untied. On the positive side, there are a couple of nice close-ups of her gagged face under water.... On the negative side, continuity problems as the tape on her ankles comes and goes, and the issue of anybody who spends as much time in the water as this character not being able to stay on the surface with her wrists taped in front of her just makes the scene silly. |

Record number: 25682 Title: The Wrong Mr. Right Medium: TV Movie Actress: Krista Allen, Anna Marie Dobbins Description: This Lifetime movie opens with part of the climatic scene, then works back to the beginning. In the opening minutes, Tracy (Allen) receives a frantic call from daughter Jessica (Dobbins) telling her she has the proof that her boyfriend is a psycho. Tracy does some snooping and finds multiple driver's licenses for the boyfriend. At this point, she starts to cry and is grabbed and chloroformed. The scene then shift to the start of the movie. When we get back to the finish about 1:45 in, the earlier scene is replayed. Jessica then enters the house and sees Tracy tied to a chair, nicely cleave-gagged with a thick white cloth and unconscious. The bad guy then chloroforms Jessica and she quickly (and absurdly by the way) drops to the floor in a flash. Next, both females are now tied to chairs back to back. Their hands are tied with thin rope to each arm rest and each of their legs are tied to the chair legs. Tracy's gag remains the same and Jessica is gagged with a white OTM gag. The bad guy then tells the two he'll remove the gags if they promise not to scream, and he does. After some banter about his plans, the cops bust in and shoot him as he was about to shoot the two damsels. Overall, Krista Allen is the featured damsel in this scene, as her chair position and body placement in the chair tilts toward the camera. Lots of closeups in the brief time she was gagged, with full body shots and mid-range shots. Unfortunately, Dobbins is almost an afterthought since her chair is totally sideways as is her body position and face for the entire scene. All her shots were side angle views (still nice and close up) and only one split second where Anna turns her face toward the camera. |
