Also, there's two "n"s in Zatanna...

Well, I had the impression that it referred to how credible they looked on screen, not that it necessarily surpassed fiction.

and about zatanna, yes my mistake.

Yeah, that was my recollection. People can edit the DB
entry to match if they please.

Re: The Hunt (2020)
Manips have been allowed from the beginning, but DO NOT portray them as the real thing. As you can see, this leads to confusion. Don't let it happen again.

In addition to those already mentioned:

Dragnet (1967) - "Homicide DR-22" (3.14) – Unknown

Friday and Gannon investigate the murder of a young woman found bound, gagged, and hogtied in her apartment. The bindings are tight, and the hogtie is very stringent. In fact, a female accomplice, concerned about the victim’s well-being, commented. “...the way he roped her up, she’d never get away.”

A Clockwork Orange (1971) – Adrienne Corri

Malcolm McDowell stuffs a rubber ball into Adrienne Corri’s mouth, then secures it with a wraparound gag of multiple windings of cellophane tape. About as effective a gag as any I’ve seen in mainstream entertainment.

Rookie Blue - "Surprises" (4.01) - Missy Peregrym

Off. Andy McNally (Missy Peregrym) is knocked unconscious. When she comes to, she is sporting a wraparound gag of black bondage tape. The same tape is used to bind her hands behind her back. The bindings and gag are both very effective.

Blind Witness (1989) - Victoria Principal

TV-Movie with Victoria Principal as a blind woman who is the victim of a home invasion. She is silenced with a wraparound gag of brown packing tape. Her hands are then tied behind her back with white rope. A single winding of tape around her torso, pinning her arms to her sides, completes the package. The gag consists of multiple windings, pulled tightly, very effective.

Gilligan's Island - "All About Eva" (3.14) – Tina Louise

Only kidding. Just wanted to see if you were paying attention.

It wasn't my intention to sell it as a real gag, even because I don't think it's that good. What I meant by seeing Betty Gilpin gagged twice was that first it was a real gag (at the beggining of the movie), and then a faux gag (the spoon). But the faux gag looks so darn good that I decided to give it an apropriate touch, showing how I actually saw Betty biting that spoon.

That said, I must add that I'm really flattered that some believed it was a real image. It gives me some motivation to keep doing this.

Tightest Wrapp Gags
Sometimes wrap gag scenes tend to be sloppy and are not even connvincing. What are the best scenes where the warp gag was really, really tight?? like for example Victoria Principal in Blind Witness or Naomi Watts in Funny Games

3. I cant believe i forgot this one. A woman is grabbed from a taxi. Next time we see her, she her ankles are tied together and to a chair leg. Her wrist are secured behind her with rope wrapped around her waist. Cloth is stuffed in her mouth and secured with a cleave. I believe the scene is from a South American country.

Stalkers Prey 2 have a scene?
Considering the first Stalkers Prey had a scene but is not in the database I was wondering if the sequel that came out had a scene. Both on Lifetime of course.

Kate Mulgrew in "A Stranger is Watching". Her wrists and ankles are handcuffed. The cuffs are connected via a chain putting her into a hogtie. Her mouth is stuffed with a huge cloth (which is shown when she's unbound) and covered with big piece of white tape.

Some very nice struggling and "mmmmphing" as she tries to call for help to some punks stealing gas from the kidnapper's van.

Kathryn Newton gagged in Freaky
Caught a preview showing last night of the horror/comedy movie Freaky. Kathryn Newton gets mouth stuffing and a single wrap around black tape gag as she's tied to a chair. Some decent angry gag talk too. Not an overly long scene, but the movie is worth checking out just to see her get the treatment.

Wow, Kathryn Newton wraparound tape gagged with stuffing! Can't wait to see it. Does she look nice with the gag?

Isabela Moner in Sicario. Slowly wrap around gagged with silver tape. In a nice touch, the first wrap was a cleave, that seems unintentional.

Would've preferred silver/grey tape but it's good to hear she's finally gotten a scene. Here's to this being the first of many great ones for her.

Looks like she might get it in the scene in the red jacket with her hair tied back. Trailer showed her fighting someone off.

Movie opens Friday, but my area shows it opening Thursday as well.

Charmed
Did Kaley Cuoco have any missed opportunities or even a very minor scene when she was on the show?

Alice Creed ! Gemma goes for it with gusto and spends a substantial part of the film ball gagged.

She was only on the last season, and I don't recall anything close for her. Althought HMC's only gag scene came in the final season.

I only briefly watched it when she was on, but I remember there being some kind of hostage situation she was a part of. A bank robbery or something? It’s been so long I can’t remember exactly, but it was something among those lines. Shame because she was smoking in that show. Shame she never even got a handgag during the entirety of Big Bang as well.

She’s still plenty attractive though and she’s only 34. If she even gets a handgag in this upcoming flight attendant show, I’d be over the moon. It wouldn’t be much, but it’s the only thing in the cards for her for the foreseeable future. Hopefully she’ll get a horror movie roll or something down the line, still plenty of time.

She’ll only do a horror movie or something if he really wants to, not for lack of work. Her salary from The Big Band Theory and its residuals has her in a good position. The reason she is the lead in The Flight Attendant is because she is the one that bought the rights to the novel to have it developed into a series so I’d be prepared for more of her producing and creating her own roles.

Re: Impossible to escape/talk
Thanks for that reminder MadFish hadn't thought of A Stranger Is Watching for years. A great little scene with inescapable bondage and a proper silencing gag - if you have any more screenshots please share. Kate Mulgrew was so lovely when she was young. Shame her fellow kidnapee didn't get the same treatment - her just being put in a sack was disappointing. This is one film that definitely needs a remake. As villains go it would be hard to top the Late Great Rip Torn though...
