Title: Wonder Woman Medium: TV Series Actress: Lynda Carter Description: Episode: "The Man Who Made Volcanoes" (2.09) Diana (Carter) is captured twice by rival enemies in this episode. At 21mins she encounters two Chinese secret agents, one of whom is martial arts expert Mei Ling (Irene Tsu). After an energetic tussle/catfight, Diana gives herself up when Mei Ling's male cohort holds her up at gunpoint. Mei Ling then fetches some rope from her pickup truck, with which she ties Diana's hands behind her back onscreen. No gags at any time. They spend many minutes leading her around some rocky hills until leaving her alone at 25mins. Using this chance, she gets free of the ropes by cutting them against a jagged rock and turning into Wonder Woman. Later, at 30-32mins, having turned back into her Diana persona and returned to the same spot where she untied herself, she is captured by a Russian agent instead. He, too, ties her hands behind her back onscreen. Just like before, she is very annoyed at this; really nice expressions from her as she half-heartedly squirms against the agent's grasp. When he takes her to see the main villain, her hands are untied once more. |

Some caps of the gag scene. Disappointing overall. Would have been nice to at least have the bad guy march them into the house B&G before removing the tape. |
