| Just read an interview with Olivia Munn where she states that she was sought after for the girlfriend role in Deadpool, a role we all know saw Morena Baccarin bound and gagged (with plenty of muffling). Now we can argue over who is the better beauty all day long, but I think we can all agree that it's a DAMN shame Munn didn't get the tape (and seeing as she likes to play ladies who kick ass rather than girlfriends etc, her chances are getting slimmer). Are there any other examples out there people can think of where actresses turned down or missed out on roles that would have seen them bound and gagged? I know for example that Whoopi Goldberg was up the Bridget Fonda part in Single White Female (I think we won that one). |

For the role of "Julie" in "Darkman", there were at least three other actresses up for the part. Julia Roberts, Demi Moore and Bridget Fonda either tested for or were, at least, considered. Julia Roberts dropped out to do "Pretty Woman". I still enjoyed Frances McDormand, but I have always wanted to see Julia get the gag. Oh well, I guess there is still time. |

| Cobie is set to co-star with Arnold Schwarenegger in the upcoming Action-Comedy Killing Gunther (which also happens to be directed by her husband, Taran Killam). The plot concerns a group of assassins who are trying to kill the titular Gunther who always manages to outwit them. No guarantee but the premise is certainly one that could lend itself to Cobie landing in peril. She had a scene years ago on Special Unit 2 but I still hope she'll get a new and better scene someday, perhaps this film could yield it. One to keep an eye on for sure. |

| Funny enough, someone posted an interview with Frances and she said she actually regrets not mmphing while she was gagged. She said in hindsight she should have done more of a traditional damsel performance. |

Did she actually use the term "mmpphhhing" when she was talking about not acting like a traditional "damsel", do you know? I always thought that was just a term we coined around here for making noises while gagged! Lol |
