| Nancy Travis portrays Connie Van Oosten in this Lifetime film about her and her husband Larry being kidnapped by a masked, armed crook and then kept prisoner in a small bunker. Abduction starts at around 10 minutes. 3 minutes later, they are shown being put into the trunk of the gunman's car. A minute later, A POV shot from Nancy as the kidnapper opens the trunk and blindfolds her. Cut to the entrance of the hideout as the couple are shown handcuffed in front and blindfolded with enormous black cloths. They are guided into the basement, but only Nancy has her blindfold removed first. Her husband follows shortly as they are both cuffed against the wall. The rest of the film, there are several scenes of them being cuffed and uncuffed whenever the baddie needs to take them somewhere. Larry only gets blindfolded once, while his wife no longer gets that treatment. Big waste, TBH. |

| New action thriller announced with Anthony Mackie and Dafne Keen that begins filming this week. Dafne getting a nice wide tape gag would be scene of the year stuff for me. The synopsis reads: "When Karl (Mackie), a former smuggler with a haunted past, storms a nightclub in Mexico to rescue Jodie (Keen), a kidnapped teenage girl, he ignites a chain reaction of blood and bullets that burns across 100 miles of deadly roads toward the U.S. border." |
