The Engineer and I have been discussing this a bit offline (cc'ing Gagster), and the upshot is that this is now done. Yay. I sent him an updated tag list about eight hours ago, and he's added it to the DB. All tags should now be typo-fixed and in alphabetical order, with my old tags translated and integrated as well. We don't think anything got lost in the process, but just in case, if you added any tags during that eight-hour window, you might want to check and make sure they didn't somehow get overwritten. Any tags added going forward won't be an issue. Having not gotten any feedback since last time I mentioned them, I decided NOT to preserve the following tags with "(?)" suffixes: gagtype_panty(?) (3079) gagtype_panty(?) (4925) gagtype_stuffing(?) (10551) mother/daughter(?) (12183) gagtype_stuffing(?) (16114) gagtype_panty(?) (18429) gagtype_panty(?) (18690) gagtype_panty(?) (18691) gagtype_ball(?) (21078) gagtype_stuffing(?) (21135) My sense has been that, if the editor couldn't determine for certain whether or not the element was present, it wasn't that likely to be a must-see for folks interested in that element. So I didn't keep these. But, I don't feel strongly about this and don't plan on removing similar entries in the future (as long as the base tag is valid)...so if anyone considers this a loss, you have my blessing to add them back in. I imagine we'll want to repeat this process maybe once or twice a year to keep the tags organized and typo-free. |

I just did a quick count, and I'm showing only 1,891 entries with tags. Your initial count was that you had 4,622 entries to add, and we already had over 1,800 entries with tags. As far as I can see from here, either Brian hasn't run his process to add your tags yet, or something did not work correctly. |

| ^ Follow-up: none had a huge amount of doubt, so I retained them all & deleted the "(?)" suffixes. |

Brian sent me an email indicating that the process had run, but I'm seeing what you're seeing. At first I thought that maybe only the entries that had tags before got updates, but even those don't appear to have been changed. For instance, entry #2 should have Tags: bonddesc_anklestogether, bonddesc_handsbehind, carry_cradle, gagtype_cleave, onscreen_gagging, restraint_tape but at the moment it's still got just Tags: carry_Cradle |
