Re: No1 Post From Discussion
"Terminology suggestion
Hope I'm not too late for this discussion, but I'd suggest either "nevergagged" or "nil-gagged" for a damsel who isn't gagged in a scene, since the ambiguity of "ungagged" might also suggest her gag was removed, even if it was never there in the first place.
Just my $.02"

Okay, start off Complaints & Solutions with this one:

No gag started off as favour to scene collectors.
Effort really put in around time Brian introduced the VCR Alerts Entry # posting.

Complaints at time:
"How to search up the gagged scenes?"
"How to quickly avoid ungagged scenes?"

Idea was to have No gag at the end of a scene description, so collectors could easily scan through roughly same areas of description.
This leave gagged, or gagged with available as the description search option to bring up all the gagged scenes.

Cleave, Detective, Tape, Over the Mouth & Overgagged were suggested best for bringing up particular gags of interest.

So rather not see not gagged, nor never gagged in a description myself.
Ungagged was mainly used to single out shows where gags taken off. Example be the German film Arztin in Angst {Sp?}
where you have tape gagged, taken off, put back on, taken off again, then later cleaved.

I've also seen "wrapgagged" to denote an overgag ... there might be a few other gag descriptions floating around the DB as well.

My take on this is that this is just no biggie. Unless I'm missing something, anyone mining for most specific types of information in the DB need only expend a bit of effort separating the chaff from the wheat in order to achieve their aims. You've done your part.

Re: Complaints & Suggestions
Brian made known, prefer kept aware as opposed to old pulling method of dealing with troublesome posters.

So for example, recent "Jologs" (sp?) movie scene problem alert.
The email-concerns-quiet "crackdown" did work in saving the fellas some money.

Warning give for new system:
If fella runs in scenes from the Southern Asian- Indonesia, etc, area?
Point out certain things are more common in films from that area, than US ones. This why asking if scene based on a Didcap? Or from having seen the film?

Figure this a polite way to look into these, without starting up acid posts, nor causing offence if a fella made an honest mistake.

However, appreciate any input on this.
We do have younger posters whom caught deliberate posting films like these to incite acid posting.
Like to save anyone wasting money,
same time avoid hassles for Brian.
Thanx

I tend to agree. I don't want anything that's going to
require editors to slog through all the entries. If I
perceived a problem, I'd be much more inclined to try
and find a solution.

I added the "delete phrase" capability, so searching now
is a LOT like using google. That really should be good
enough.

Do please let me know in these cases. I can take sterner
measures if I feel it's warranted.
