| Ahhh. Someone has just beaten me to adding an entry for this film. However, I can offer missing details and Tags: Description: A house-assistant bot has gone rogue, overriding all programming for all bots on earth, and now, from distant planet GR-39, it plans to 'purify' the earth's atmosphere, wiping out most of humanity in the process. A new body, the International Coalition of Nations will try to stop the carnage, by both destroying the bots on Earth, and by sending Rangers to GR-39 to try to capture the rogue bot so that data scientists can work out how it overrode its programming. Atlas Shepherd (Jennifer Lopez), a counter-terrorism analyst, joins the mission, initially against the wishes of its leader. 71': Atlas has been captured by (humanoid) worker bots and is brought, struggling and grunting, by two of them into a dark bunker-style room with a wet floor. She wears one sleeveless vest over another, trousers and calf-length boots with strong soles; her hands are manacled in front. The bots push her down onto the floor, and shackle one leg to it. (Note: although she is wearing what may seem to be a collar, it's not part of her restraint; it's a respirator, to allow her to breathe while in the toxic atmosphere of GR-39. It's probably best not to think too much here.) The megalomaniac bot outlines its cunning plan, for which it needs 'clearance codes', which Atlas possesses. 75': Atlas is manhandled into another room, struggling and still manacled, and strapped to a gurney so that the megalomaniac bot can extract the codes from Atlas. We don't see the detail of the means of extraction, but it's evidently unpleasant and most painful, although it leaves no mark. (It's a 12/PG-13-Cert film, but with some surprisingly-graphic detail, including a putz on the next gurney who is in a bad way after his 'treatment', and some unexpected foul language.) After more plot revelation, and some more 12-Cert chat/ backchat, a huge, friendly, mechanised robot ('ARC') bursts in to free Atlas and the putz.
