| Sunday June 09 00:23:56 2024 The Sheriff of Cochise aka U.S. Marshal |
| Record number: 12911 According to the Classic TV Channel*, the title of the episode is "The Red Headed Visitor" and it's season 01 episode 01 (not 10). (*On a very popular tube site.) |

I agree, and had started researching it a bit last night then got distracted with something else and forgot to finish my post. One other TV info site, with some good production notes, labels it as 1.11. However, they include the pilot as 1.1. Their notes say that no episode numbers appear, so they list the production number: 1.11 Sheriff of Cochise: THE RED-HEADED VISITOR [verified on film -RF] Copyright © 1956 (on film) / no number above cast credits (on film) prod. no. 11 (copyright date 05Nov56) |

The problem is (especially for really old shows) that there never actually have been any rules about numbering episodes. It could be production order or broadcast order or some other random method devised by the producers. There's also the problem of shows being shown differently in syndication than they were broadcast, or having double episodes split into two. You settled on epguides.com and IMDB when you started the DB, and its worked pretty well. I don't see any reason to rock the boat now. |

Yeah, too bad epguides doesn't seem to be updating. For the most part, the episode title is more important for those searching for scenes. |

| Sunday June 09 21:25:26 2024 Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga (2024) |
| There was quite a bit missing from the original entry including Anya Taylor Joy's scene (albeit that one mainly for completists). I have re-written the entire entry: Record number: 28795 Title: Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga (2024) Medium: Movie Actress: Alyla Browne, Charlee Fraser, Anya Taylor Joy Description: Browne plays the young Furiosa in the first part of the film - while covertly sabotaging the bikes of some scavengers she is spotted by them at which point she blows into a warning whistle to warn her nearby utopia community. The scavengers panic and grab her, she resists and they knock her out before riding off with her in escape. She wakes up hogtied bent over one of the bikes in flight, later cuts during the action of her mother (Fraser) and companion trying to rescue her reveal closeups of her effectively bound wrists and hogtie. She soon attempts an escape by cutting the line to her ankles but is quickly caught again. After being taken to the Dementus' location she is untied. Furiosa's mother (Fraser) catches up, sneaks into camp and frees her daughter but their escape is later hampered at which point Fraser prods her daughter to leave. Fraser is soon captured by Dementus' men with Browne soon captured as well after defying her mother's wishes and backtracking to save her. Fraser is tied up elevated in a tree with her arms spread apart, her feet are tied below her in a dangling position. Fraser is tortured for information on her community and killed but this is implied and not seen. There are a couple later scenes where Browne is seen wearing what looks like a very loose, ineffectual muzzle and manacles on her wrists while sitting in a cage. Browne is later brought along in a meet between Dementus and Immortan Joe; in a negotiation for power Dementus is coerced into giving her up to Immortan Joe. Browne later becomes part of Immortan Joe's harem where she is later taken from the room in the middle of the night by one of Immortan Joe's sons who puts his hand over her mouth as he carries her out of the room to his lair. Much later in the film Anya Taylor Joy as Furiosa attempts an escape from an ambush to be caught and chained by one arm. She soon escapes by cutting her arm off (not seen). It should be noted the director used CGI to 'blend' Anya Taylor Joy's face to that of Alyla Browne in a futile attempt to have a smooth transition from young to older Furiosa which will explain to anyone wondering why Alyla Browne's face looked uncanny during her appearances in this film. There is more information available online about this if you wish to search. |
