She's always been a well-respected actress in Korea, but somehow NEVER gets a scene. To the point where I'm certain she requested to not be in any gagged/kidnapped scenes. I had a feeling she might get a scene here too, based off synopsis. So that'd be cool. |

Upon watching again, they definitely retaped her, but just as effective on the re-taping. Notice the loose strip near her right ear on the follow-up looks after the lights were cut. The original was perfectly placed across her mmouth. |

What I also loved was that, unlike the 3 legendary wraparounds I listed above, she actually attempt to make some damn noise. It's like the director told her "Spare no volume; scream as LOUD as you can, at the top of your lungs." That's some realism for ya. Kinda rare to see in mainstream scenes. There's mmpphhing for dramatic effect, and there's screaming so forcefully that one's voice breaks up. I'm just hugely impressed by this scene! |
