| To WB: Thanks for the nice words, but finding and putting up those scenes over here is just the last step within a series of information: I read about this scene in a list of ELZAHIR/NOX DORMIENDA years ago and I watched the bad-quality-clip you mentioned at YT, too. This clip added greatly to my knowledge of the details of this scene (outdoor/indoor, day/night, the way the damsel is dressed, the bad guy's looks etc) and made it more easy to find the relevant capitulo. You mentioned the good quality of the clip: Do you also care about the visual aspects of a scene as much as I do? Just compare the clips which TELEFE and TRECE (Argentina's two leading tv channels) put up: Telefe (logo: three colourful dots [green, red and blue]) makes use of strong and lively colours, while Trece (logo: star in rainbow colours, turned to a black star/sun recently) always uses dark and cold colours - as if their telenovelas would take place somewhere in Eastern Europe! It's the same with Mexico's channels: TELEVISA and AZTECA air their telenovelas in bright colours, while CADENA TRES uses dark and depressive colours! IMHO a telenovela needs strong colours and sunlight - after all, it's not about grim reality but a dream-world! |

I am sure we can all catch the girl holding on to the red ropes without them going over her wrists while supposedly bound to the red seat at the end. I would agree... I like seeing the Brighter colors that the telenovelas have. But if done right, dark and grimm can be an added bonus to a scene. Nothing too extreme just an edge to the scene. I really love the asian scenes you've posted over the years. their use of tight cleaves is really good, just like Costumbres Argentinas. I really loved the atention to the rope tying her wrists... looks believable and tighter. For me continuity is a big thing as well as believalbiilty... hands in fornt scenes don't do a thing for me... IMO the damsel must have her hands tied behind with a good ankle tie and tight cleave. or a really good tape scene. There are some really good ones out there. |
