| This scene used to be on YouTube a while back ago, but can no longer find it. Does anyone have this one? Title: On Top of Old Smoky (1953) Medium: Movie Actress: Sheila Ryan, Gail Davis Description: Four minutes into this Gene Autry western, Gene lassos Lila Maryland (Ryan) who is trying to get away with the casino's Saturday night profits, then snaps a pair of handcuffs on her in spite of Lila's protests. In the next scene, Gene leads Lila down Main Street with her wrists cuffed in front and her upper body and arms swathed in ropes. Ten minutes into the film Gene and Smiley Burnette ride up to a toll road station house and find station master Jen Larrabee (Davis) tied to a chair, tightly detective gagged with a bandanna. Ropes crisscross her body, her wrists tied behind the chair with her legs and ankles bound as well. She struggles mightily with plenty of gag talk as she tries to get Gene's attention. Gene whisks the gag off her face and as she berates him for his tardy rescue, the boys slowly untie her. Nice scene of medium length. |

On the bright side - the actress plays the kidnapped daughter of a Mayor in their previous film and there's a bit of white tape action to be found. |
