| A new find! The latest Spanish thriller added to Netflix this past week has a scene throughout for the protagonist's daughter, Laura (played by the cute brunette, Maria Caballero). She is first kidnapped offscreen in episode 1 by a crazy woman trying to use the daughter as leverage against the protagonist. We see her in a ransom video with her hands presumably bound. Towards the episode we see her with her hands bound in the back of a car. She manages to get her hands free while arguing with the crazy lady and fights with her causing the car to crash. In episode 3, Laura manages to get out of the wrecked car and runs away. She hitches a ride with a man who is driving in the area and when he doesn't start driving after she gets in the car, Laura sense's something is wrong. Seconds later, the crazy woman from before handgags Laura from the back seat and knocks her out with an injection. In episode 4, we see the crazy couple tie Laura to a chair inside a building. Just as the husband goes to gag Laura with a thick multi-colored scarf, the wife tells him not to because she might choke on it due to some medical condition she has. Laura remains tied to the chair throughout episodes 4 and 5 while chatting with the husband and wife. Finally we're rewarded with some full treatment action towards the end of episode 6. The wife gets frustrated that their ransom demands aren't being met and storms into the room that Laura is being held in. She takes the thick scarf and tightly cleave gags the terrified brunette, all the while the Husband tells her not to. After several minutes of this, Laura's father finally calls the couple to tell them he's done what they wanted. However, just as they're relieved to hear this, Laura starts convulsing/choking while having some sort of seizure while she's still bound and gagged. They quickly untie her and ungag her and send her off to the hospital offscreen. Plenty of great closeups in this one and Maria wears the gag well. I've attached an edit (left much of the talking from E4/E5 out of it) and screencaps below but keep an eye over on ScreenTies in the near future as I submitted it there with English subtitles.
