While riding, she makes a break from him, and escapes. Shortly after she's shown being released from her bonds. The version I've seen (on TNT) never shows her gagged, but Allen Marburger's listings mention one, with the caveat that this may be missing from "prints shown on the airwaves". I'm not certain whether the gagged imagery was cut from the sequence described above, or wholly separate from it. My old notes have what I saw coming in around the 65' mark, but I'm unsure if that refers to a two-hour airing. In any event it's not early in the film. Update: I saw an AMC airing today (5/16/03) that had no gagged scene as well; at least not as part of the above sequence. If the film began on time, what was shown came in around the 75' mark (without commercials - around the 57' mark). From Marburger's description, I'd have to assume there was just the one sequence, during part of which Ms. Malone was gagged, as he describes her being bound on horseback as detailed above. |

For The Nevadan, he wrote the following "I am told that Dorothy Malone is tied but not gagged." As was common for Marburger, he had blurbs on many films that he hadn't actually seen himself. It could be that saw a review which mentioned the "bound & gagged" Miss Malone, that many reviewers still use, whether there is a gag or not. It could also be he confused this movie with "Two Flags West", which actually did have a gag scene which was cut out of the final print of the movie. |

I just noticed the brief shot at 0:30 in the clip where one of the ladies is shown ungagged. I think it's your basic continuity error, since she's gagged again in the later shots...but there's also a guard right there staring at her, so maybe he took it off just briefly in exchange for...favors? |

I'm having trouble editing the DB at the moment, but the ep numbers should be S06E03 (chloro) and S06E05 (cleave). |

It's actually S06E01 and the actress is Elodie Hesme. The chloro scene is actually S05E03. I'm aware that Imdb lists the episodes in a different way but most of the french sites I've looked list the episodes the way I wrote it. |

He manages to escape and pursue the criminals; along the way pretty Pat Drake (Hobson) is bound and gagged. A hand clamped over her mouth causes her to pass out long enough for the two crooks to put her into a chair with her hands tied behind her back. She is cleave gagged with what appears to be a scarf. She manages to hop the chair over to a table where she can reach some long matches. She uses them to set the curtains on fire to attract help - not exactly the best escape plan I've ever heard of, but it is successful in this case. After being rescued, she recounts the story to her partner: "I was all bound and gagged like the heroine of a melodrama." |

Just heartwarmingly adorable. Plus her kidnapper wasn't too much of an asshole, so that's a bonus.
