| Title: Big Sky (2020) Medium: TV Series Actress: T.V. Carpio, Madelyn Kientz Description: Episode: Happy Thoughts (2.10); Do No Harm (2.11) A Good Boy (2.12) At the end of 2.10 mother, Rachel (T.V. Carpio), and daughter, Max (Madelyn Kientz), are kidnapped by a man who Max's boyfriend stole/lost some drugs from. In episode 2.11 at about 5 minutes in, they're marched into a basement and ziptied to chairs. The kidnapper turns on the TV for them and then leaves. At about 26 minutes, the kidnapper returns and has a meal with the mother and daughter. Eventually he leaves and Max starts moving her chair towards a set of tools so that she can use them to get free. Eventually Max is able to get a handsaw and cut herself free. She then whacks the kidnapper over the head with a 2x4 and tries to free her mom only for the kidnapper to grab her. They fight it out and Max tries to make it up the stairs only to be pulled down them and knocked unconscious. 5 minutes into episode 2.12, Max comes to. She realizes that she is once again ziptied just as the kidnapper is returning with some food and gives them both a bite to eat. At about 13 minutes, the kidnapper pulls into a junkyard in a van. After giving Max's boyfriend some instructions over a walkie-talkie, the kidnapper opens the van to reveal a bound and tape gagged mother and daughter. A few minutes later, Max is able to get her gag off and starts screaming for help. She then struggles around the van to get free and manages to turn on the van's hazard lights which get's the police's attention. Eventually Max's boyfriend and the kidnapper have a standoff and the police rescue Max and Rachel. |
