| Something I’ve come to realize is that there are a wealth of quality scenes in short films/amateur productions, however you’d like to term it. There are numerous YouTube and Vimeo playlists that compile these videos with DID scenes, which obviously makes them easier to spot. So, a question, what are your favorite scenes in short films? (Just to make clear what I’m asking so this doesn’t get shut down by the moderator: I do NOT mean “amateur” like videos of some people fooling around with duct tape. I mean actual shorts that have a cast, plot, etc.) |

| There certainly are a wealth of DiD-themed short films out there. Girls in peril seem to be a popular subject for would-be auteurs. Ones that stand out to me are those with feature film-standard quality, that have plots and good sfx and believable villains. And beautiful damsels naturally. Recently there was Fear No Evil starring Kate Pittard. Kidnapped and imprisoned in a tight space behind a wall. Not tied but very well-gagged with one of those amazing Handmaid's Tale-style leather panel gags. An award winning UK short called Amber stars beautiful Chloe Crump as a home invasion victim. She's seated on a couch again not tied but wears a very tight leather belt cleave gag. Lots of close-ups and a nice ungagging highlighting how tight it was. Abe a few years back was a great and very slickly produced short featuring a creepy robot serial killer waxing lyrical to his latest beautiful victim who's strapped to a dentist-type chair sporting a nice duct tape gag. Abe is apparently being turned into a full-length feature but there's no sign of it yet. Those three are all well-worth watching for their excellent quality all-round imho |
