This page is for posting links to online streaming video, Youtube and things like that. The rules are somewhat looser than Discussion. You can post and discuss mainstream and related amateur video. Do not post clips from commercial videos. It's usually not that hard to tell the difference.

| I recently 'upgraded' my PV to Windows 10 only to discover it no l0nger supports Movie Maker - the simple video editing software that enabled me to select the parts of a video or videos that I wanted and then join them together. Supposedly the Photos app in Windows 10 can be used for video editing but I fond it confusing as it seems to be designed for people wanting to enhance (ie. add music, colour filters, captions, etc) to photos and videos. A Google search reveals various editing options, free or at a price, but they also seem pre-occupied with all sorts of fancy enhancing options rather than simple editing. Can anyone recommend good, simple software for my purposes? The closer to the old Movie Maker the better. |

Windows 10 supports Movie Maker, I just used it. You might have had an issue with the installation. You can try deleting it or reinstalling, or it could be your PC if it's older. But MM still works. |
