Though the ratio seems to be the infamous "pan & scan" version (as the original is widescreen), so there might be more in the parts of the image which have been "panned and scanned" to reach the 1.33/1 – 4/3 TV format. It is a really nice scene (I love OTM's and she sports it beautifully), but the best shot of Charlotte (full body, nice posture with knees up, showing her tied, pointed feet in ballet shoes) is unfortunately poorly represented (small element in the background + first blurry then sharp for a few frames + located in the border, half of body not shown + very quick). This image would have been a classic vidcap! I will try and find the bluray version of the film, maybe to get a clearer view of her |

To recap, what I noticed from the trailer is Megan is definitely gonna be captured and tied up (at least hands in front at one point when she wears blue... dress? I don’t know that outfit in English haha), and also at 2:24 there’s also a wide cloth hanging around her neck. I won’t get my hopes too high tho, maybe it’s a blindfold, but then at 2:38 we get to see there are 2 clothes hanging around her neck now... the other cloth is thinner than the other, but I assume that one is used for the kidnapper to pull the chain that will hang her body... Really wish that is a gag, but well, can’t be really sure these days.. |

Did they keep it in > the remake? Sorry to anyone who is not familiar with this at all because it will sound like gibberish. But the remake takes place exclusively in Midgar. It ends when the characters leave, which in the original would be when you get to the over world. There is no word on how much the the second part will cover, or when it will even come out. The ending of the first part also hinted that there will probably be some drastic deviations from the original story. So who knows if the Tifa scene will even make the cut. |
