Never seen that on YouTube before, either. Perhaps someone will be able to capture it and repost it. It's actually quite a well done scene, with the damsel struggling mightily while being tied. Nice mediaeval outfit, too, much more authentic than in earlier seasons. |

The damsel ungags herself onscreen. Lightweight funny scene. | I dont know how old this is or if it has been posted before, but I stumbled across a nice little clip during a Dark Knight spoof a friend sent me.... http://www.collegehumor.com/video:1907835 the basic idea is that its a trailer for The Dark Knight if it had been made in the same vein as the campy sixties version (which did give us memorable scenes with Yvone Craig and a few others). In a brief clip (around the 47 second mark) spoofing the capture of Rachel Dawes and Harvey Dent in the film, we see a shot of the two captives with a bomb on their respective laps-but this time Rachel has been gagged! Unfortunately Harvey has been too, but I'm sure we can forgive that.It only lasts a sec but the girl playing rachel is a cutie and we do hear some nice muffled screams...and as much as the clip highlights how much better Batman became as a franchise when they got more serious, it also highlights The Dark Knight's one flaw-they didnt gag Maggie! |
