| Ok, people seem to be somewhat interested in the video of short clips I posted yesterday. That is actually a small part of a much larger project to create a visual index of all the clips I have. Here is a longer, but by no means complete, video of many of the short films I've got, mostly from YouTube. https://drive.google.com/file/d/11JGLb_scgKJ7vD8vHik7bj8OKflR0HQq/view?usp=sharing I've exported the video with burnt-in timecode so the individual shots can be referenced to the frame. Here is an EDL for the video, so if you know how to read one of these you can cross reference it to find the name of the clip (it's chronological). What I do is simply find the scene in the video that I want to search up, look at the 2nd and 3rd parts of the time code on the bottom (i.e. minute and second),and then use my computer's Find feature on the EDL to locate that time code (note: make sure all pages are loaded first). Sometimes there are multiple clips within the same second,and therefore multiple places where the minute and second I search appears on the EDL, in which case I pick what I think is the closest exact time to when the clip that I want was. Then I copy and paste the title listed with that time code into my browser, and so far have found every video that way (although I imagine some can no longer be found on the internet, I know of one at least having gone back to look for it prior). Side note, while doing this I found a massive favorites list of over 3k videos, which would take weeks to go through entirely, but a brief look through has already turned up several short films I've never seen before, or are in the aforementioned video.
