Record number: 706 Title: From Beyond (1986) Medium: Movie Actress: Barbara Crampton Description: Dr. Katherine (Crampton) goes in for a little unnecessary shock treatment. Strapped down to the gurney at 1hr 5mins, she is gagged with a rolled-up wad of gauze stuffed in her mouth and held in with another thin strip of gauze cleaved tightly between her teeth and knotted over that; all done onscreen and shown in nice close-up detail. She is spared this fate at the last moment, and after having her arms freed, she coldcocks the technician with a lamp and escapes at 1hr 9mins. Later, at 1hr 13mins, she is captured again. Her arms are chained apart (no questions as to how she gets out of this one; it is indescribably goofy). Nonetheless we get a good glimpse of her bare feet. She escapes at 1hr 17mins. This editor also checked the commentary tracks on the Blu-ray edition, but none of the cast or directors make any bondage-related references.
