Maria, however, doesn't want to be rescued. Since the adventurers are professionals, they are honor bound to complete the contract, no matter what the cost. When Maria refuses to return, our heros reverse kidnap her. She's spirited out of the bandittos camp with her wrists tied behind her back, and remains bound for an extended period, as she is hoisted onto a railroad car, then a locomotive and finally as a human shield. |

Allen Marburger calls this, in his opinion, "the most vivid ten seconds of bondage in the movies" I wouldn't go that far, but it's a keeper Suffice it to say a nice gag, interesting character interaction, and the rarity of the scene (I've only seen it one other time well over a decade ago) combine to give you ample reason to tape the whole magilla (I have no idea when the scene occurs) |
